PCC Douglas is located in Douglas, Georgia, approximately 2 hours northwest of Jacksonville, Florida.  PCC Douglas excels as a manufacturer of precision castings for the aircraft, aerospace, and power generation industries.  Our products are made to exacting quality standards.  We have a strong commitment to excellence in our products, our work practices, our productivity, quality of work life and to community relations.

The first phase of the Douglas facility was completed in July of 1980.  In 1981, construction began on a 77,000 sq. ft. addition which, when completed, enabled Douglas to become a complete castings operation.  The plant is located on a 45 acre tract and covers approximately 100,000 sq. ft. or 2.5 acres.

The  Douglas plant is organized to produce precision investment castings with an equiaxed or uniformly shaped crystalline structure throughout the casting.  The product configurations include individual blades, vanes, segments and complete assemblies which are designed as integral castings.  These blades and vanes, along with some structural components, are subjected to tremendous stress and operating temperatures during their lifetime in an engine.

Alloys composed primarily of nickel and cobalt are used to cast the blades and vanes for gas turbine engines.  These metals possess properties that are required for the temperature and stress levels encountered.  Because of this rigorous application, each step of the manufacturing process is extremely critical.

The Douglas facility employs over 900 people and has annual sales nearing one hundred million dollars.
